Flexible, Umbilical and Cable Laying Systems

During the last decade SAS has become a reliable supplier of Flexible Laying Systems. On board the lay vessel, flexible product is spooled from reels or a carousel and laid via the Tensioners at the seabed. The product can either be laid via the Tensioners in a J-lay tower, leaving the vessel vertically (J-lay) or via deck mounted Tensioners leaving the vessel horizontally (S-lay).
