Started originally as a machine manufacturing company SAS transformed into a system provider. With own management and engineering, and together with our clients, existing and new designs will be incorporated to find the best and most reliable system that fits the ship lay-out and matches the project requirements.

Most of SAS employees hold engineering degrees or equivalent. Their formal qualifications are backed by experience. SAS design engineers focus on reliable mechanical solutions with advanced control systems on PLC and PC levels. They use high-tech computer programs to calculate tensile, loading and other relevant forces, in order to provide customers with sound and safe equipment. SAS specialists are able to provide independent advice for matters related to our product range.

SAS has its own production facilities at Alphen a.d. Rijn (The Netherlands) and Gwangyang (South Korea). These facilities are well equipped for welding, machining and assembling all the equipment designed by SAS. Most important of all is our capability of testing our equipment and systems before they are shipped to their destination.
